We are planning a ramp up of promotional stuff over the next couple of weeks; which includes details about onsite and offsite activities.Any updates on the preparations for this years show , especially regarding remote
access? I logged into to the TNMOC cloud server a week or so ago and noticed
the MOTD Welcome message is not !Booting , just figured Jarod and co are busy
working on things. The WHOAMI prog is still eliciting a coherent response but no new files
or obvious changes in the BOOT directory yet showing activity.
Is there anything budding remote attendees can do in prep, prior to June 7th?
I still aim to physically attend but would still like to do the remote thingy also on the 8th.
The first bit of that went out today on the museum's official social media channels; Richard has re-shared the text of which on the previous post.
The post references the recent work by the Acorn Team at the museum to ensure all BBC systems in the Classroom are fully connected with Econet. The final thing before leaving was to load the latest version of Mark Moxon's modified version of Econet Elite. Here's a short video I took showing all the screens (including an odd looking red screen which only revealed itself on camera and will be addressed at the end of this month) with Elite in attract mode.
A more formal arrangement for an Elite scoring competition will also be announced. Mark and myself are currently figuring out the ins and outs of running the scoring system over multiple days and will be announcing details in a subsequent.
Going forward, watch out on each Wednesday for announcements regarding details about the TNMoC Econet LAN Party!
