Hey All,

It turns out that Deputy isn't the only terminal software that plays nice in Dos Plus, I've recently found a GEM based terminal that can be compiled as either an APP or ACC (although I can't compile the app, but this is most probably down to me not understanding what I'm doing!). I found it here on an great GEM website it appears it was a sample file created by Digital Research it is only TTY and ASCII uploads but does include the C source so should be possible to add support for more protocols.

I think it requires GEM 3, but may work under GEM 2 (if you are using GEM 3 remember to get the most recent video driver that gives the full 640x256 resolution and has integrated mouse driver from here rather than the older 640x200 driver which requires mouse.com). To use the term.acc file place both term.acc and term.rsc in to C:\GEMAPPS\GEMSYS\ folder, it can then be accessed via the Accessories (?) menu (top right where it says Desktop). It terms of memory usage I'm not 100% however it must be quite small as I can have Term running as well as GEM Publisher 2 which usually cannot cope with any other accessories open.

If it appears to be working, but not quite working be sure to select Full Duplex from the term config menu:

Enjoy!
