So I'm currently baffled by how RAM, IOC, etc all read (write?) as FF but the IOEB test manages to read F5, indicating correct IOEB presence. Obviously the databus isn't jammed, or the ROMs wouldn't work, but I've not been in a situation quite like this before where there's an apparent IOC fault, but only due to MEMC (swapping in an original MEMC, with the 8MB board still in place, gets expected POST). It feels like it must be a write error really - which is why ROM reads work - but writes to VIDC (using POSTbox) don't appear to work either so... confused.
