Introduce Yourself • Hi, working BBC thumbnails for Retroarch

Hi, nice to be here. I was wondering about if anyone knew if the images on https://www.bbcmicro.co.uk/ were available to put into Retroarch as screenshots. I sent an email off on the contact page a few weeks back and did not get a reply, just wondering if the screenshots of the gameplay were an open license.

I am currently going through the 4000+ programs and getting the title screenshots manually (mostly the instruction pages) and they they will be open license for anyone to do with as they want. I am currently storing my projects at https://github.com/ZacGeurts which should give some idea of who I am. I tend not to create a repository until complete and ready to distribute. These hopefully will make their way into the official repository and be available to anyone and everyone using Retroarch. It is a project I started to give something back after I entered disability.

If you do use Retroarch and have been disappointed that there is not a BBC Micro core, there is. You will just need to enable the experimental cores in the online updater settings to get the Acorn - BBC Micro (b2) core. I have had no issues with it and have already gone through over 600 programs with none failing. It is being held back while they add additional options like save states and some of the other luxuries.

So that is pretty much me. One trick pony for the last year. Just working on material and projects to give back to communities.
