In terms of my *TIME and *DATE commands in the I2C rom, because I’ve done them ‘my way’ and they’re not 100% compatible with the pre-existing Acorn functions as found on say the Master, it’s caused some angst amongst some of the Acorn purists on here. As stated in the manual, I do faithfully replicate OSWORD &0E Type 1 and have added a new OSWORD &0E Type 4 (that I don’t think pre-existed) but I definitely have not tried to replicate all the extant Acorn functions and behaviours. As far as I’m concerned, my I2C time and date functions are eminently usable will fulfil the needs of the clockless majority but I do feel obliged to highlight the fact that you’re dealing with an alleged pathological rule-breaker.
So, by all means use and abuse whatever you like from the rom - might just be for casual info or might be copied at will - but if you’re looking to faithfully recreate the Acorn temporal functions on the AP6, treat my code with caution and read the comments etc carefully![Smile :)]()
