I have to agree with you MM...... this happens to me on a lot of games. I think it might just be that many of the 8 bit games are somewhat random in some areas of it that give quite different results, even after playing them many times. I can't think of another reason why this might happen......Had a few more games but not gotten within a whisker of my previous score.
Anyone else suffer from this peculiar type of "beginners luck"? Not truly a beginner, of course, as you have familiarity with the game, but where you pick up a game after not having played it for an age, breeze through it - getting a stellar score along the way - but then, on every subsequent play, fail to perform anywhere near so well. Have noticed this on a few HSC games and wonder now if it's strictly a me thing, where I've already bored myself by playing it once, or do others have this same problem?
