Sadly nobody has ever found a schematic for this monitor - it's possible that one was never publishedHello, I have the exact same monitor it's a amiga m1438s, it had the usual problem with the hot transistor which now has been replaced, but now it's got another problem, the tube is working and also the flyback transformer but not light non the screen as brightness is at it's lowest, any suggestions on what it can be done? The technician asked me for schematics but they are impossible to find, thanx a lot.

We need to establish whether the screen has 'raster' which is the full-screen glow which should be visible in complete darkness (N.B. I think this monitor can include power saving so you might need to connect to an input but display just black on the screen). Adjusting the 'Screen' control on the flyback will make the raster brighter as a test, however the correct setting for Screen (a.k.a G2) should result in the raster being only just visible in total darkness when the user brightness control is turned to minimum.
Can you perhaps share some photos or a video demonstrating the current problem?
