This is slightly tangential, but the Apple II version of Elite contains the RWTS routines from Apple DOS 3.3, woven into the original BBC Micro source by Rob Northen (who was responsible for the original copy protection on BBC Micro Elite).

So Apple II Elite is a mash-up of code by Ian Bell, David Braben, Rob Northen, Steve Wozniak and Randy Wigginton. It’s like a greatest hits of 6502 stars!
