32-bit acorn hardware • Delete Key Workaround

Hi folks - I’m working on my Archimedes A3020 and remember there was a work around for the delete key for avoidance of continually installing that keyboard over and over again - I’ve tried searching and can’t find it - I seem to recall it involved installing a static switch into the keyboard connector?
