The DVI-D output is VGA: 640x480 at 60Hz - once the vertical blanking is added in then the resolution and video timings become nearly identical to NTSC video. The Atom's 6847 VDG generates NTSC so this is a great match.I thought it meant the older style BIOS screens and similar that were predominantly low resolution text screens, but who knows!Interesting - do you think "DOS mode" might refer to MS Windows on a PC?!
If "DOS mode" is VGA then it explains why it is not working with the LG TV and some other TVs.
However, I would expect a computer monitor to support VGA in order to allow access to BIOS settings. A computer monitor that didn't work with the BIOS would be fairly useless.
