I had a fun non-delivery complaint with AliExpress. I'd ordered two sets of cables, from two separate sellers, but at the same time, and Ali decided to combine the parcels into one. However, the individual sellers only ever saw their own individual tracking numbers. Of course, the single, combined parcel made it all the way to Bradford before Evri managed to destroy it, but that only registered on the *combined* tracking number, so neither seller would acknowledge that their parcels were lost. They also kept telling me to visit my local post office. Ali even sided with the sellers in one out of the two appeals I eventually had to lodge, so I only got roughly half my money back, after two months. A very frustrating experience really, as I did what you suggested first - contacted the sellers: "it's not been delivered yet, please wait" from both of them, despite me explaining it had been combined by AliExpress. Very edge case scenario I guess, but it made a complete mockery of their 100% refund guarantee in case of non-delivery. Especially as Evri had admitted it was their fault and were willing to pay out compensation to the sellers, and you could actually see on Ali's combined tracking that the two numbers were listed. In the meantime, I'd re-ordered exactly the same cables from exactly the same sellers and had them delivered without problem as I still needed them!I've not tried TEMU, I think large discounts result in forking out more in the long run.
With Aliexpress complaints, contacting the seller via messaging prior to making the complaint can be useful.
Sellers want to avoid unnecessary expense, e.g. the cost of return postage etc.
