To answer your question: None of the emulators support RGB2HDMI, because it's only on the output from the computer, I guess it would be possible to add it to an emulator, like NULA support.
Unfortunately the only real way to test is to run it on real hardware.
If you have a build with the changes to the vidproc register, I can test it, which was what I was going to suggest on my reply that got lost.
I didn't download the other build because it wouldn't have worked without changing the video mode via the vidproc register.
