Here's a very rough Citadel ... "speed run", I guess (99 points). It's genuine -- it was done in one take, without any re-records, and it shows.

It's terrible. I improvised the route, so it was almost certainly sub-optimal. I had to backtrack a little in a few places due to bungling. I made a pile of execution mistakes.

One attempt to exit The Pyramid resulted in four or five "red lights" due to my determination to rush everything, coupled with some bad luck relating to enemy positions. The resulting energy loss in here meant that I dropped to 6 energy entering The Lab, and had to play very conservatively for a minute or two to avoid dying.

By my timing this is about 49:20 from start-of-control to loss-of-control, which is how speed runs are generally timed. I don't know how much this can be improved, but perhaps 45 minutes is possible.

I invite others to improve it (but no cheating). The first thing to look at improving would be the route, followed by the execution.

I've included the HFE disc image I used (Citadel_D1S1_40T_HG3_727E20AD_1).
