I've been working on timing the rendering of the torch to try and avoid tearing. I've mostly succeeded but more by trial and error than calculation.Looks great, Rich is a real matter of all trades beeb and I think Archie related.
I like the sonar/ torch effect.
I've been looking at SpritePlotterWithIRQ.txt which provides details that in mode 2 the CRT beam finishes rendering the screen 18.120ms after the VSync interrupt. From this I've been timing rendering using 18.120/256 as the time for the beam to render a memory line. This is making the assumption that there is no time delta between the Vsync interrupt and the CRT Beam rendering the top-left of the screen on the first line. Is this correct, or is there a known time delta that I can factor in?
