Dare I power it up?
Did. "Chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp" at 2-3Hz. Bugger. I'm going to assume this isn't a PSU that needs a load
Assumption wrong. Put an electronic load at 2A on it, one slight startup chirp and we get 4.85V. So needs a bit of a "tune" but seems reasonable. \:D/
Tweaked it with the handy pot next to the 5V connector to 5.001V @ 2A, and it's solid at that all the way to a (tested) 6A and down to about 1A. Looks like very nice regulation. Below 1A it's soon up to 5.1V, which is probably what I'd expect it to do. The A680 mainboard draws 3.3A in normal use with iX anyway.
12V, -12V and -5V rails all sufficiently accurate too.
