For generic information on the normal configuration settings search using "bbc master configure". This web page is very useful.

Did you do a CMOS power in reset (hold R when turning on). A switchable OS must be set to a Master OS when doing this.

Then insert all the normal ROMs if any are unplugged.

Then configure.
