I did watch the video and thought I understood that this was a game building tool that allowed for a lot of customisation...
Did you even understand what this project is, or did you just skip to the video?
Several of my ports let the original ROM write to its character mapped display and then update the beeb display based on changes.
It seemed that if you could access the timer that counted until the next jump scroll that a smooth version might be possible although not easy.
It is still displaying the same stuff, but the translation from tile to beeb memory address would change when the screen scrolled or it could jump back and just do what it does now
You would have to treat the player sprite differently, but that didn't seem like it would be impossible!
