The Wipeout rumours are true and there were many more in the pipeline. Both Wipeout and Wipeout 2097, plus, if they were successful, more of the Psygnosis catalogue (G-Police, Colony Wars). Also, many Sega titles, starting with Megadrive (Genesis) classics, including Sonic, Ecco, etc., either by individual ports or via emulation. I went to Lionhead on the trail of Bullfrog titles and saw a very early prototype of Black and White demoed by a very young Demis Hassibis. We were also talking to Eidos about Tomb Raider as well. I was indeed made redundant from Acorn in 1998, just before Phoebe was cancelled, but I did get to carry on those discussions for Netchannel before it was acquired by NTL in 1999, and I stopped working on RISC OS devices after that.
