Based in Newcastle Upon Tyne UK I have not been able to get to any Abug/Shows due to the distances to travel.
This forum is amazing. Thanks to everyone who has been so helpful over the last few weeks as I have got my Acorn stuff out the loft and now I have the luxury of being retired started to setup an Econet, upgrade my A3000 (Thank god I took the battery out 10 years ago!) and pimp my A7000 thanks to CJE Micros and Elesar. My A7000 is now both on my Econet and Ethernet with a Elesar Econet and Design IT Ethernet Podule, backplane from CJE Micros.
The extremely active Retro community keeping Acorn products alive in 2025 is amazing. The people in this and other communities who have created modern day add-ons for BBC Micro's and Archimedes are simply fabulous.
Really looking forward to using my Econet network of BBC Micro, Master 128, A3000 and A7000. Not to mention Raspberry PI on RiscOS of course, the modern Archimedes!
Hope to get to a show/meeting sometime this year.
