As mentioned here: one of the interfaces is a IMHz version for BeebSCSi use.
I've been using a BeebSCSI since introduced by Simon Inns (simoni) here - and it's worked well - But . . . . I have problems getting SD Cards working!
With the introduction of the Pi-1MHz interface for the Electron Plus 2 it's even worse. I'm trying to provide a plug-in and Play interface e.g. it works out of the box, that doesn't cost a fortune! So, this interface needs a SD Card fitted. I'm also trying to provide at least 2 LUNs - aiming for 4 which will need at least an 8GB SD Card!
Finding reliable source for this is proving difficult. I have lots of 1GB, 2GB and 8GB SD Cards all from ex-equipment - the 1 and 2 GB from old mobile phones. Now all these work a treat in PCs and my MacBook - but NOT on the Domesday project SCSI interface or on Kens 1MHz interface design which we are using for the Electron version.
Mark Hillier did all the development testing using, IIRC, a large newer card. This would imply a later product (?).
So, Question: Can the SD Card interface routines be updated to use these older, lower cost, cards? As the later higher capacity cards, in quantity, (so a part with a good name) will almost double the cost of the product
and it's really bugging me . . .
