Well, I've been caught out with this as well when reverse engineering the Acorn A4 Econet module. And I'm sure I'm not alone:

I basically misread the Acorn schematic and assumed the LHS of the symbol was 'A' and RHS was 'B' (as per pin layout on the IC) when, in fact, it was the reverse. I failed in my QA checks when transferring the circuit over to KiCAD. My fault. Not Acorns! Lesson learned for meWow. Good spot. Bad Acorn schematic symbol!I think I've spotted the problem. I've got the As & Bs crossed on the 245. So need to invert the data direction signal to pin 1. Aaargh!
