Well, Acorn User, December 1993 did include a supplement featuring the editors' and readers' selection of the top 100 games for the 32-bit machines. Obviously, there will be biases in terms of recency (which games were new and exciting at the time), exposure (which games were more available, promoted or otherwise popular), and so on, meaning that it will hardly be a genuine consensus.Is there a list/poll anywhere that ranks all the classic games?
One howler from that list that I remember from the time involved the editors thinking that Aldebaran was a mis-spelling of a location from the Star Wars franchise.
