Hi,
It looks like this version of the BBC Micro copy is missing the Alligata loader that came with the original.
It's nice to see the correct amount of "World" filenames again though!
I can confirm that back in the summer of 1985 I did transfer this game to disc myself and I had to add a downloader to the final BASIC file to download it to &D00 in order for it to work correctly as per the tape.
If you load the game any higher then it may seem OK at first, but as you play the game, it will start to corrupt the graphics on some of the screens as code spills over the graphics files that get loaded at &35BC upwards, and you may also get a "No Room at line..." error too.
I can confirm that on my original 40 track Games35 disc that Nightworld does indeed contain all the "World-1" to "World-5" files as per the tape image posted above, as well as the "BBC" Alligata splash screen file (missing from the above tape image) and the "Nightworld" file (although it was shortened to "Nightwo" for disc use, plus I added the instructions for the game to this file making it slightly longer than the original tape version).
The version of the game I have on Disc012 only has "World-1" and "World-2" filenames but "World-1" does include all the data from the missing files - which is just saved that way due to filename space limitations when including many games on a games disc.. The machine code at the end of the BASIC in the "World-2" file was added by me and moves all code from &1100 down to &D00 and then changes PAGE to &D00 and finally does a OLD and RUN routine. This code was present on the original tape as the final file, which was all BASIC code) was simply CHAINED in at &D00.
Mick.
